August haul pic (bit crappy, sorry but had to include the Doctor Who Sea Devil figure, that was my last "must have" action figure until the current Doctor's figure comes out). Bottom book is Lost girls and the deal of the month was the 3 Parker hc-s for 7 pounds (all three! One of them is a bit beaten up but for this price it was a no brainer).

I also tracked some oop ones:

Annihilation (144€ from the local comic store. High price but now it feels reasonable)
New X-Men (From Amazon seller - learned the meaning of glued binding and gutter loss
And I just won Thor by Simonson and X-Men by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee Vol 1 from local online auction site 160€ combined

So after Powers I'm going to be completely broke

it's not oversized but hc and the whole story. Instantly ordered it after I've read Bone and now it's on my shelf, although still in shrinkwrap.

Yeah I said omnibus cause collects all the 4 volumes... It's not oversized, but it's hardcover and not too much expensive. However, I've read quite a lot of bad reviews about the story itself...

Which issues are in that Hulk trade on the left? I don't recognize it. What's it about?

I believe that's the 2nd OHC (and last unfortunately) from Bruce Jones' run. Issues 45-55 (guessing?) from vol. 3. Would like to see this run in an omnibus one day, but it's hulk, so....

Just double checked, it's issues #44-54by Bruce Jones with Art by Deodato and Immonen. From the cover blurb Banner is on the run from a from a conspiracy style organisation who are trying to get his blood and have sent Abomination after him. Between this book and volume 1 (which I haven't read yet as i was waiting for this to turn up). Only half of Bruce Jones run ever got oversized which is sad and I hope this book ends on a satisfying note otherwise I'm going to have to start mixing my book sizes!

today was a pretty good day, now up to date with all the absolutes i want (except perhaps LOEG 1 & 2 if the price is right) dipped my toe into Scott Pilgrim, not sure why it has taken so long as i absolutely love the film, and upgraded my tatty From Hell tpb to a HC....

love Scott Pilgrim, I think the books are even better than the movie (I'm not too keen on Cera as Scott). Where did you get From Hell from and which edition is that?

thanks! I thought there is a hc from Knockabaout or the other publisher but it seems like there is only this library binding version. How is the binding? My Complete Bone library edition's binding is kind of fragile looking so I'm not sure it worth the upgrade if From Hell is the same.
