Batman #35 cover
Interesting. I wonder if this means anything with regards to the story.
Arthur and Clark now have Reed Richard's stretching power. Cool.
Not a fan of that, but i'm happy to see Fco's name credited on the book... even though it's weird seeing Plascencia instead of Fco.
His name should without a doubt be on there with the amazing work he's been doing on the series, not to mention colorists getting more credit/praise in general.

Capullo should draw Justice League after his stint on Batman is over.
This looks so cool!
None of you seem to understand, I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me..
Very interested to see Snyder's work on the greater DCU and more of a straight superhero comic. I wonder if he will eventually give JL a whirl when Johns moves on. It's really the only thing equal to writing Batman
They must be holding him back from killing Joker, since that's who this arc is about!!!! ZOMG! JOKER!!!!!

I wonder if we'll be seeing Lex in Endgame, as he doesn't appear on the cover, maybe by the time this story takes place he'll be off the team?
Also, just based on the comixology page, it looks like Kelley Jones will be drawing 35's back up story

Pull List: Swamp Thing, Gotham by Midnight, Robin: Son of Batman, Batman, Detective Comics, Darth Vader, Batman '66
2 weeks to go! Really excited for this actually.
"Yes...Mondo Cool"- Vegeta.
I love Capullo's Wonder Woman, I wish he got to draw her more often. I also wish he would stop drawing Aquaman like Jim Lee did in JL vol. 1.
I wonder why Green Lantern is off the page. Could it have something to do with the new Power Ring being introduced in Justice League?
Is this going to be the regular cover or it's a variant?
Ah, here come the Frank Miller homages. But that's okay. It's certainly exciting to think of getting Capullo's take on some of the big JLA superhero powers. And Snyder using the JLA is big, too - took him a while to do it. Of course, I don't wonder if that's just the big part of "This Issue", the first in the arc. He's a dense enough writer and likes twists, so I doubt the whole thing will be "Batman on the wrong side of the Leaguey-weegies". I imagine the whole thing will feel very Johnsian, as usual, but with the requisite writerly tendencies and heavy thematics. Should be pretty cool.
My big takeaway from that cover, and my recent re-read of a lot of the New 52 stuff ... barring the weirdness of the speed effects on Supes and Aquaman ... is that it's another nice Greg Capullo cover ruined by that AWFUL Batman logo.
Retro315 no more. Anonymity is so 2005.
