I won't be so hopeful, but it was nice to see that is is there in the multiverse
what a way to throw a bone DC, right in the feels
Just any hope that he is out there and will be seen again gets DC my money. I haven't bought a DC comic in 2 years but have kept up by other means. Seeing this and the hope he is out there will get me spending again.
Some just don't understand, What you see in Superman comics now IS NOT Superman. What you see there in that picture IS SUPERMAN......

That last page is a tease of the rumored Blood Moon event next year. I believe that Superman is either the Pre-Flashpoint Earth-0 Superman or from one of the many worlds in the current multiverse, I'd bet from the New 52 golden Earth-1. Not only that, there's a glimpse of the Pre-Flashpoint/Pre-Crisis JSA which means that Kal-L will surely appear in Blood Moon.
We will only get the Pre.Flashpoint characters for the Band-Aid two-month April 2015 event.
I heard that new 52 superman is Mr majestic lol

Ok..so making Superman wear underpants makes him Superman???..Thats quite a shallow view.(Despite my avatar)
What the hell is that huge guy lurking in the background behind Brainiac?

Pre new 52 DC universe might be the most overrated thing by fans..It didn't start to get good until very late after COIE happened
From the looks of things...it looks like it's not just Pre-New 52 Superman alive out there...but perhaps the entire Pre-Crisis multiverse as well!
I've seen some people have speculated the New 52 erased the events of COIE completely...and if so...then that means that perhaps those earths...or echoes of those earths, are still out there.
A long time ago just before the Old DC message boards closed down, I speculated the New 52 itself could be just a part of the upcoming 30th anniversary of COIE...and all of this was leading to that.
....and I wonder what happens when the remaining original New 52 titles reaches their 52nd issues?
Anyway I admit...seeing the classic Supes in a mainstream Superman comic for the first time since 2011 brought a tear to my eye.
I wouldn't mind an appearance from Smallville Supes.
