I read the issue and liked it. It was well paced personal type story. I'd give it a 6.5/7 out of 10. A little too early in the series in my opinion. Issue #4 looks like it will be more entertainment with Yukio and Storm coming together again and building up to what looks to be a big showdown in issue #5.

Sorry folks she died, she needed to breathe and was out in space for over 10 minutes with no air. Claremont's whole point was to illustrate that Storm was willing to die for her beliefs which were to not take another life after killing the man that tried to rape her as a child.
