Default Has anyone read The Fifth Beatle?

I know it's not superhero or sf, but has anyone read The Fifth Beatle yet. I guess it's a graphic novel about the Beatles manager. Apparently, it's really good…it won the Eisner. I heard the creator or a podcast and he was a really interesting guy. Thinking of buying it…should I?

By the way, he's the interview with the book's writer: http://bit.ly/X6YPBc

It's good, but it's not really going to tell you anything about Brian Epstein that you wouldn't already know if you've read any Beatles book. The art by Robinson and Kyle Baker is the real draw of the book-- their work is fantastic. I would recommend it on the strength of their work alone.

Huh. I always thought the Fifth Beatle was Pete Best. Learn something new everyday.

There's no "Official" 5th Beatle. Besides Pete Best and Brian Epstein, George Martin, Murray the K, Billy Preston and Stu Sutcliffe were all at one time called that

If anyone deserves that title, it's George Martin.
