If it's Saban (the guy himself), I wouldn't hold my breath. Whenever David Yost mentioned the homophobia he encountered, he wouldn't name names but would pretty much point at producers and higher ups -- if not for the abuse, then at the very least for looking the other way when it happened (but yeah, primarily still the bullying).
Yost hinted that he might've been more tempted to accept the invitation to return to the show for its 20th anniversary had the show still been under Disney, but specifically stated that since the is back in Saban's hands, who then brought the old crew back, he consciously turned them down because of their unpleasant history together.
Heck, I can't wait for the Japanese dub of the American movie based on an American show made from a Japanese franchise.
