    lol... I tried telling yall.

The value is ONLY going to shoot up after the movie. Even this comic book store owner agreed and he is MORE knowledgeable than me at collecting. If yall don't have this issue then yall better hurry the %^&* up.

Nothing that I can verify. Most of what I've heard were like this in terms of degrees of situation:

Me->Person I know and trust -> Person they know who has a legit chance of having seen the film (test screening/place of employment) but who I do not know and cannot say whether I'd agree with their judgment or verify their claim.

I've had the above happen three times from separate individuals. They all praised it with no complaints.

I've also heard similar things from a couple randoms who were commenting because I was wearing a BP shirt that day, so I have no idea how to take those.

Nice. At first glance, I thought, "Man, Disney really did just give him recolored Iron Man and Wolverine effects parts." Then I looked it up, and this line's Iron Man uses a different piece and there is no Wolverine. This isn't really something I'd pick up for myself, but I imagine it'd be a nice thing for kids/Disney collectors.

I was in my comic book store and BP was the topic and they were shocked to find out tickets were on sale now.

I don't think folks knew they were on sale and here-plenty of seats are available everywhere here. I guess we hate college football when it's not Texas teams playing.

And my figures came today? I now need Black Bolt and that's it.

Crap like that happens especially when a RUMOR of one being on tv or in a movie happens.

Remember the Static series with Jayden Smith rumored to be in the lead? Everything Static went up in price including the New 52 series. Yet I still got that trade 70% off the price on Amazon.

I do have that issue along with the entire run.

It would be REAL funny if this movie and that comic suddenly restarts the interest in collecting books.

I mean on black characters alone-how much money could be made off of those first appearances?

Vixen's first appearance is still not in trade nor is Monica's.

    Nor John Stewart.

Not saying it's all bad, but the best they can do is slightly above average on one or two occasions.
True unless Coates has some change of heart after the movie drops it will be more of the same. I put a little blame with the editors as well but it is what it is.

If this movie blows the lid off i think it would fair for marvel to go back and rethink if they really have their best in position to take advantage of the eyes that will be viewing and wanting to get into printed stories.
With the movie I gather from the previews that everyone will get a chance to shine without anybody being chumped, which is the way that the comic should be. Hopefully when the reviews and more importantly cash start flowing in Marvel will take a long hard look at the Black Panther franchise and make the best decision.
Somewhere, a nerd cries. I feel nothing.
