Vlad was a good villain. Current T'challa would have no problems with him but Vlad was a somewhat smart criminal and I'd like to see him again

It'd be cool if he set up shop in Africa and hired goons from around marvel to help try to take over ala the Kingpen

a fight scene between klaw and T'Challa would be equivalent to spidey vs electro in the TASM 2 (although the movie was not that good itself) but thats the way I see it

Electro was so overpowered that Spidey beating him made no sense. Thats why they need to tone down Klaw a bit

I can agree with you quiet a bit but I didn't have a problem with that except for the fact that with the amount of electricity spidey was absorbing, he should have been a goner.

Wonder what klaw would look like on screen in his sound form

I agree. But not just that. They didn't make Electro look likeable. He was like a weirdo. They could have just shown him being a very nice employee until the accident happened.

In theory Klaw doesn't need to be toned down because he has a weakness to vibranium. So he can be beaten even at full power.

But that's part of the reason on paper Klaw and T'Challa don't necessarily match up well. It's either too hard or too easy. It's either nearly impossible or a potential one hit KO. It's tricky to find a middle ground there.

Still, if nothing else I'm sure it'll be visually fun to see on the big screen. It's sort of Black Panther vs Green Lantern in a way.

I didn't follow Iron Man very hard in comics (they alwasy sucked IMO except for Superior right now) but did Whiplash or "Mandarin" get a push when IM2 and IM3 came out? I really have no idea, but I know Loki got a push from Thor HARD (and they turned him into more of a hero), Malekith got a huge push as well and made a comeback thanks to Thor 2.

Our best hope is that Klaw gets "Malekith'd" when BP movie comes out.

Assuming Spider-Man doesn't keep pushing BP farther and farther away (and out of CW)...
Whiplash got a mini-series but nothing for the Mandarin (for obvious reasons; the whole movie was them mocking the concept of the Mandarin as a racist stereotype). HYDRA also has gotten a very big push in the wake of Captain America 2.

Roy Thomas mucked up a lot with T'Challa, but I do like the relationship Black Panther has with Vision when both are the new guys in the room.
He was also close with Quicksilver, to the extent that Quicksilver even said "None shall miss you more than I" when Panther left the team. I don't think any other writer ever followed up on it.

Its why Hudlin's version is superior. Traditional Klaw is a villain that can dispatched but never truly beaten since he is pretty much already a ghost of a man.

Hudlin's death of TChaka should be the movie version, its just flows so much better.

I wish they woudl have just made him evil. I am sick of all of Spider-Man's "sympathetic" villains

nothing wrong with a bad guy simply being a bad guy. I don't want ot feel sympathetic to Klaw.....

That is why there is probably a 99% chance we will get some version of M'Baku or Killmonger with Klaw. T'challa needs someone to go all Warrior Ninja on.

I prefer the classic version if only because the idea of a being made of sound has a lot of visual potential. I'm guessing that's why they hired Andy Serkis, who usually does motion capture for CGI characters.

Was there a Klaw/T'challa/T'chaka relationship in the Ultimate Universe? Or a Klaw at all in the Ultimate Universe?

Marvel tends to pull a lot from that (updated) Universe so just curious.

Makes it so he can't really be killed as well. Meaning, after T'challa "kills" him at the end of the movie. Klaw can always come back as part of say... Masters of Evil or some shit in Avengers 16.

The Marvel movies have been very bad about killing off their villains though. But even if they do bring him back I'd be okay with it if it were the result of the character being well received by audiences like Loki.
