The jury often consists of at least 1 comics retailer, 1 librarian, and 1 academic researcher, among other comics experts.

That librarian does not care about Marvel continuity nor does the researcher.

Black Panther will be part of the new kid-oriented Avengers book IDW is putting out.

Cool, so he's in both the Avengers book and his own series.

Honestly, I bet she based Nakia on the original version of Malice in terms of looks.

She failed...and failed miserably. I've seen other artists illustrate Storm with more obvious Black features but they still manged to make her look beauty-full. Her art is very stylised but...that's not how Rogue or Nightcrawler should look either...so yeah, she needs to try again and try harder.

If they're not going the Malice route, I'm thinking Lupita should have been Monica Lynn. Not necessarily the version we saw in comics... but they can just say Monica Lynn is her undercover identity when she's acting overseas.

Course, the movie version is nothing like the comic version of Monica... but it's not like she's anything like the comic version of Nakia either.
