True or False: Firebird should become the permanent host for the Phoenix.

I always wanted to link Firebird up to The Bird of Fire, from a Claremont/Nebres Iron Fist serial in DEADLY HANDS OF KUNG FU, but there could be some Phoenix connection in there too.

But permanent? "Permanent" in comics is like Bucky being dead...

I'm actually shocked that nothing ever became of Jade. But I guess Claremont was in the early stages of developing his Phoenix lore. Still, between the Phoenix Force, Psi-Hawk and Jade the Firebird, Marvel has pretty much cornered the market on cosmic raptors. (Dare we add the Cosmic Egg idea to that list? Ha ha! )

Who do you consider the top Avengers villain ? Kang or Ultron ?

I don't know who I'd say was #1. Kang, maybe. But those two are at the top of the list.

Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil get the third slot.

I'd view the Kang character more of a top Marvel super heroes villain instead of the top villain of a specific Marvel super hero team.

Hmmm....I'd think Count Nefaria would be a close third.

Not including the Kang character, then yes even though I find the Count Nefaria character deserving of the number two spot.

Where did you get the idea to use justice and firestar in avengers? (they were great in your run)

Thanks. I wanted to be able to show the experience of being an Avenger through new eyes, and they gave us two interesting perspectives: Someone who had dreamed of being an Avengers for years, and someone who had never aspired to that.

In the future it would be interesting to me to see which Marvel characters would act like Justice someone who DREAMED of being an Avenger for years and Firestar someone who never aspired to that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

If marvel asks you to write a lesser known hero for a future Disney plus show who would you pick?

I don't think they're going to, so I haven't thought about it.

But if we're really going for lesser-known, I'll pick a Wundarr/Namorita show.
