I think so. At least I don't remember anything like that in the comics.

But man, this last trailer was SO GOOD. It really feels like the show is going deep on the mystical side of things (unless they're being really misleading), and I like that a lot, as I thought the mystical part of their comic book history would never make it to live action. The action, the New Orleans set, the drama, the mysteries... everything looks very exciting so far.

Also, Tyrone at one point appears with a cloak very similar to his comic book one. I'm assuming this will be closest we'll get to proper costumes in the first season.

It's pretty cool to see movie and TV actors interacting like that. Hopefully we'll have more of those in the future. Marvel Studios and Television feel like worlds apart sometimes.

Kind of surprised they're giving them a digital comic to tie-in to the TV show rather then an actual ongoing.

I wonder if this is the classified Cloak and Dagger story solicited in trade in November or so.

I might end up getting Comixology Unlimited to check this out, although there's enough subscription services that I don't have time for as is.
