the animated series can't come soon enough. Live action done well would be great but I'd still like to see an exploration of the characters in animation, with lots of the original series' villains and supporting characters.

Is it animated? I thought it was live action?

It's funny, once Marvel decided they were no longer mutants, I stopped caring about happened to them.
Odd, cause I have their first mini and use to buy any comic I saw with them in it.

I think since I jumped on with them as not being mutants, I really disliked it when they said, "Oh they're mutants!" So I am glad that's undone.

The power switcheroo had me less interested, but thankfully, that's over.

Agreed. There's enough mutants in the Marvel Universe. They had a unique origin that granted them their powers.

... my comment on an animated series was speculative. I hope one is developed, sooner than later. I still think it would have more potential to go "deep" into all the characters of their world (and the Marvel U) and not have to worry about budgets that won't allow for certain stunts or certain villains.
