How so? The early Cloak & Dagger stuff were rather dark, dealing with racism, drugs and poverty. Their origin is them running away together and being experimented upon by drug lords. Being teenagers is a big part of their background. I don't see what's weird about it.

It's about time. These are characters who are perfect for a TV show. I've been wanting this show for a while now. So I'm glad it's finally been greenlit.

It'll still take a while to actually get made, and there's no guarantee it'll ever actually air. But it's great that we have real work happening on it now.

My problem is the romance part seems to be the hook for this instead of crime fighting.

"Marvel's Cloak & Dagger" follows Tandy Bowen and Tyronne Johnson, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened by and awakened to newly acquired super powers while falling in love. Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. They quickly learn that they are better together than apart--but their feelings for each other make their already complicated world even more challenging.

Okay - just looked through Amazing Spider-Man #8, and it was all tied to the Spider-Verse, and no C&D anywhere in there. Is there yet a NEWER Amazing Spider-Man that's out that's on #8?

Sorry about that.....Should've double checked the Volume of the Current ASM Series.

@ Wiccan......Both Cloak & Dagger were originally runaway teens before gaining their powers (forcefully of course), and Darthkostis' comments regarding their (numerous) Mini- (and later Ongoing) series were on the mark.
