Venom by Remender omnibus, OHC or just properly collected in trades or in ultimate collection trades. Great run but a horror to collect.

    DC:
Alex Toth Omnibus (probably in two volumes)
    Atari Force
Steve Englehart Justice League of America omnibus
    Flash complete Morrison/Millar stories
Scooby Doo complete Evanier and Spiegle stories
Showcase Presents: Brave and Bold (more volumes!)
Showcase Presents: Legion of Super-Heroes (more volumes! and yes, #5 is due 12/14)

    Fantagraphics:
Scamp by Al Hubbard (a series of hardcovers, like they're doing for Barks & Rosa)

    Marvel:
There must be something I want...

    Titan:
Doctor Who, the Eighth Doctor stories by R. Langridge (sp?), either an omnibus or four TPBKs

Having recently finished Annihilation, I desperately hope we get Omniboo for Annihilation: Conquest and DnA's Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy. The four together form a golden period of Marvel books for me.

This thread makes me incredibly frustrated.

--I would like some Bronze Age Superman and Batman reprinted in a chronological order. I like the books centered on artists (and soon writers) but I'd like more please.

So would I, but apparently the royalties system DC used back then would make it quite expensive to deal with every artist involved. That's why artist-centered volumes have been more feasible so far, I guess.

If the Movie goes well its much more likely, I just hope they out the DnA stuff out before Bendis run.

I had a long hard thought about this whilst on holiday, and I came up with this:
(I was about to put Marvel Masterworks: The X-Men vol 7 down, only to find it actually exists!)

The Crew #1-7 by Christopher Priest
    Damage Control Classic Volume 1
COLLECTING: Damage Control vol 1 #1-4, Marvel Comics Presents #19, Avengers Spotlight #26
Amazing Spider-Man: Brand New Day - The Complete Collection Volume 1
COLLECTING: #546-563, Swing Shift, plus stories from Amazing Spider-Man Family
    All-Winners Squad: The Complete Collection
COLLECTING: All Winners Comics #19, 21, All-Winners Squad 70th Anniversary Special, All-Winners Squad: Band of Heroes #1-5, PLUS the original art, scripts and story outlines for the unpublished #6-8
House of M Prelude: The Complete Collection
COLLECTING: The Avengers, Civil War and Masters of Evil preludes

    Going off of DC's bandwagon:
    Marvel Black and White
COLLECTING: Shadows & Light #1-3, Daredevil: Black and White, Indomitable Iron Man
    Marvel Zero Year
Collecting the 0 issues from the 90s

Something which is never going to hapen:
    Marvel Crossovers (Marvel/IDW/Dynamite/Titan)
    COLLECTING: Sledge Hammer #1-2, Transformers #3, #9, select issues of G.I. Joe, Godzilla #1, Death's Head #8, Marvel Super Special #1, Giant-Size Spider-Man #3

I think a format Marvel could experiment with is maybe take some of their classic stories, pack them with as much supplementary content as possible and release them as lavish hardcovers with quality paper. So, for example:
UNCANNY X-MEN: THE DARK PHOENIX SAGA ULTIMATE EDITION HC
COLLECTING: Uncanny X-Men #129-137, plus the funeral for Jean Grey in #138, What If #27, v2 #33, relevant issues of Classic X-Men, Bizarre Adventures #27, PLUS a new foreword and afterword from Claremont et al, and an extensive art gallery.
Tell me you wouldn't buy that.

Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight - Faith & Flyer
    COLLECTING #21-26
A volume for #31-36, and so on.

A friend of mine suggested a while back a Knightfall: Prelude book, adding some of the Moench/Aporo issues which set-up the Knightfall event, and some of the supplemental content which was missed out of the 600 page trades.

Some ideas for some Doctor Who collected editions
Doctor Who: The 1960s Dalek Stories
COLLECTING the complete strips from TV Century 21 (provided licensing means that's OK. I know that Doctor Who Magazine has reprinted some of the strips in the past, just never as a full collection.)

Doctor Who: The Rose Tyler Adventures (DWA #1-25, Doctor Who Annual 2007, BIT #1-7), The Martha Jones Adventures (DWA #26-47, BIT #17-33, Doctor Who Annual 2008), etc.
COLLECTING the 6 page stories from Doctor Who Adventures and Battles in Time in a series of collections.
(From what I'm read, Billie Piper does not authorise her likeness being used on merchandise - except of course series sets, which is why it hasn't been on any of the recent audiobook releases - so this might be a tricky one.)

Doctor Who: Seventh Doctor Collected Comics Volumes 3-5
The Mark of Mandragora COLLECTING: #164 ('Fellow Travellers')-#174 ('The Chameleon Factor')
Volume 4 COLLECTING: #175-187 ('The Good Soldier'), plus 'Evening's Empire' from Holiday 1993
The New Adventures/Emperor of the Daleks COLLECTING: #188 ('Ravens')-211 ('Uninvited Guest'), #238-242 ('Ground Zero'), #227 ('Up Above the Gods'), #305 ('The Last Word'), 'Flashback' from Winter 1992 and 'Are You Listening?' from Summer 1994.

Doctor Who: Collected Stories From Countdown and TV Action
Reprinting however many volumes of 1st, 2nd and 3rd Doctor strips from the 60s and 70s, plus 'Happy Endings' (DWM #337).

    Doctor Who: The Gallifreyan Archives
COLLECTING Annual comics from the 70s and 80s, 8th Doctor Radio Time strips, back-up stories from the 70s, plus 'Daleks vs. the Martians' from Spring 1996.
    BLACK AND WHITE/COLOUR
    The First Doctor
'Operation Proteus' (#231-233), A Religious Experience (Yearbook 1994), 'Food for Thought' (#218-220)
    The Second Doctor
'Bringer of Darkness' (Summer 1993), 'Lair of the Blind' (#224-226)
    The Third Doctor
'The Man in the Ion Mask' (Winter 1991), 'Target Practice' (#234), 'Change of Mind' (#221-223)
    The Fourth Doctor
'Black Destiny' (#235-237), 'The Naked Flame' (Yearbook 1995), 'Rest and Recreation' (Yearbook 1994), The Seventh Segment' (Summer 1995), Victims (#212-214); 'The Star Beast II', 'Junkyard Demons II' and 'The Fangs of Time' (#243)
    The Fifth Doctor
'Blood Invocation' (Yearbook 1995), 'The Lunar Strangers' (#215-217), 'The Curse of the Scarab' (#228-230)
    The Sixth Doctor
'Age of Chaos' (Classic Comics 1994)
    The Seventh Doctor
'Seaside Rendezvous' from Summer 1991, 'Plastic Millenium' from Winter 1994, 'Under Pressure' from Yearbook 1992, 'Metamorphosis' from Yearbook 1993 and Death's Head #8.
    Am I missing anything?

Things I'd love to see collected:

Len Wein's Justice League Run (in its own edition and in color)

    Steve Englehart's Justice League run

More of Bate's and Maggin's Superman (especially the "Who took the Super out of Superman" 4-parter they did together, which looks ideal for DC's "DC Comics Presents" line)

Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle's Batman stories

Chuck Dixon and Graham Nolan's Detective Comics run

Romano Scarpa's Disney stories (especially the early stuff)

The ones that jump straight to mind:

BPRD Library editions to go with the Hellboy versions
    Waid Flash Omnibus(es)
Kyle Rayner 90s GL run omnibus
    90s Guy Gardner collected however
    More Kirby AEs
    Swamp Thing (Moore) Omnibus
    Starman proper Omnibus

Marvel tend to be quite good with their releases, I'd just like to see 90% of them reprinted.

I hope so too. The Bendis thing is a little niggling worry at the back of my mind.

QFT. As someone who has very recently started collecting, it pains me to see all the OOP books I can't get my hands on. Bru's Captain America and DD, Bendis' DD, Ennis' Punisher, Astonishing X-Men, The Ultimates, Cap Britain etc etc.

I hope Millers DD and the Alias reprints are a sign of things to come.
