They were on the decline before 2011, and I'm sure they're still not rising as much as the publishers need or want, but here are a couple of more recent news articles saying that comics, unlike other publishing markets, have seen digital and print increases simultaneously:

To be more specific, the Diamond top 300 sales for the month that Azz's #1 came out were 7.27 million, as compared to 8.53 million last month when Rucka's #1 appeared (according to comichron).

I try to forget Finch's run. No doubt it complicates things, but I think it's likely that Rucka is bringing back some readers who came to WW with Azz and left with Finch but still retained some interest in the character--as well as continuing to hold onto those readers who joined with Azz and persisted with Finch. And again, of course Rucka is surely also bringing back readers who quit during Azz's run.

    15 33.69 $2.99 DC Wonder Woman: Rebirth (2016) * 1 94,458

I think it's interesting that both of these books beat out the initial sales of the New 52 Wonder Woman #1. Granted the New 52 #1 sold over 100K with reorders/2nd prints but we don't have the sales date yet for the reorders/2nd prints of last month's books. In times when print sales are typically on the decline and New 52 having alienated some long-time fans, I think this is a huge win for Rucka and Co.
The artwork was a lot better!
That was a major complaint that I heard personally from a lot of readers was that Chiang's art was subpar (to put it mildly).

    Interesting.

Wonder if sales of each story line levels off there, or if one of them will wind up outselling the other.

Nice to see that even issue #2 topped 100K. When was the last time a Wonder Woman #2 did that(before reorders)?

Also good to note that she outsold SM #2 and aside from Civil War, Batman and other Rebirth #1 issues she was at the top of the charts!

    Heinberg's first few issues, maybe...?

I think that came the closest, but didn't quite make it:

    This is really great news.

Alongside Nicola Scott's always amazing art, I think a lot of Readers remember Ruckas run on WW and how it was rather abruptly cut short by Infinite Crisis. Interest in seeing him return to the book is no doubt a factor
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

    Interesting.

It looks like the even numbered issues with Nicola's art are definitely the favored sibling.
