Of those on topic, the Asian female characters really seem to have the most development and staying power.
Similarly positive strong Asian male character, not so lucky.
    Yes.

I really think Stryker Z and his abilities could go farther as a character...just needs a writer that cares.

"History of the DC Universe" by Wolfman and Perez, when the DCU use to make sense.

So any prominent adult male hero Asian or Latino (even on a team) in the DCU?
Ever on JL, any of the other many team books.
Anyone with potential for even a role in the slate of upcoming tv or movies?
Or does this idea/possibility just not exist ?

How old is Vibe supposed to be, these days?

In the mid-1980s, Paco Ramone, aka "Vibe," was the first Latino member of the Justice League of America. (He joined at the start of its Detroit Era.) He appeared to be a teenager in those days, but I'm not sure if he was supposed to be at least 18 -- and thus a legal adult -- at that time. Two years later, he was killed off as the original JLA title was being cancelled, which is not the most encouraging precedent.

I hear he's been used as a JLA member again in the "New 52" era, but I haven't read those comics, and I simply have no idea how old he is stated or implied to be in his "rebooted version." I understand he also had his own solo title for a year or so.

I'm afraid that doesn't tell me much.

About a decade ago, when Courtney was dating Billy Batson in the pages of the pre-Infinite Crisis "JSA" title, I think it was suggested that both of them were sixteen-year-olds. But I have no idea how old she is supposed to be now.

So back to Kimiyo Hoshi: she has not actually appeared in the New 52 yet, correct? Just sort of alluded to as Arthur's wife?

She's always been one of DC's more severely mismanaged characters. She was obviously intended for greatness due to her prominence in Crisis and her rather extensive powerset ("power of a sun" or somesuch) but writers never found a consistent niche for her--maybe she was too powerful? Not enough stories to be told about an arrogant (prefer this descriptor to "bitchy") super scientist who only wants to adventure part time but the life keeps dragging her back in?

She appeared as Arthur's wife, with children if I'm not mistaken, during Trinity War.

If you mean the Milestone one-I believe he is.

He's around and his solo was a guilty pleasure that twas more of a victim of timing than contend of the book.

Did they release that last Ray mini series in trade? I read the first few issues and loved it.
    I think it is.

"Such an abundance"? Right. You mean the abundance killed off, in limbo, and/or sitting on the sidelines?

Or on tv yet can remain MIA in comics (Static & Jaime Reyes). And Jaime being in limbo makes NO SENSE. Look at your growing population in the USA.

You can't get everybody to your product with Batman & Cult.

    Yes.
