Default Will anybody miss Doc Ock?

I have to say. Superior Spiderman was the first entire arc of Spiderman I read. I have read Spiderman comics before and loved them but they have only been the odd comic here and there. I like Peter Parker as a character and I really get his humour.

When Doc Ock took over Peter's body though, I had my doubts but they were put to rest after a few issues. I think that the humour didn't come from Doc as much as it did some of the supporting characters like when he punched the lady (was it Jester?) in the boob. I liked his relationship with Anna. It was...different. Not bad different, I just couldn't think of a word besides diverse.

I have to say I prefer Peter over Otto but can't say that I won't miss Otto as Spiderman. I just wonder how he'll come back from this.

I will, he seemed like he wanted his (stolen) life to progress, while Peter feels like he is ok just going through the motions.

I started to miss Ock the moment I read the page that Peter returned. I'm really hoping that he keeps all the development he had during Superior otherwise I'm going to be extremely disappointed.

I'm hoping they use Spider-verse to bring him from the time he was in 2099 into the present along side peter. It's never revealed what he did there or for how long.

Don't worry, he'll be back. I just hope it won't be like the last time he "died", erasing his memories of lastest actions before kaine killed him. I want him returning with his memories of "Superior Spider-Man" and, filled with guilt, he will confess to NYC that he impersonated Spider-Man during that time.

Otto erased himself from Peter's brain, but who says he didn't actually transfered himself to somewhere else? And we still have to find out what the webs happened with Otto's body, which disappeared from the grave.

I will always miss Ock, since I always found Peter boring and pointless.

wouldnt go that far but SpOck was a fun read.... I knew it wasnt forever but I could have read it for a few more issues and I think it could have gone a few more.

I won't miss him as a Superior Spider-Man but I always liked him as a villain.

I already miss him. Doc Ock has always been my favorite Spidey-Villain, and I hope he comes back soon. Hopefully, he'll be a hero/ anti-hero this time as opposed to the traditional villain. It would be nice to have a new direction for a character that actually sticks and isn't entirely obliterated by retcons and rewrites down the road.
