How did they meet? How many mutants have they liberated? What were their bitter defeats? In-jokes? Rare smiles in dystopia?
Along their merry way they might meet Tom Skylark and Rover, perhaps?

I'd like to see a faithful adaptation of God Loves, Man Kills (especially as the Nutters are poised to make a resurgence in American politics heading into 2016), but it'll never happen. FOX (or any other studio) doesn't have the balls to make their film's antagonists be murderous Christian fanatics. They have a similar reluctance to allow Cyclops to be anything other than CGI wallpaper.

Not really a movie but a tv series of X-Factor Investigations. X-Factor is perfect to make it into a show. A Messiah Complex/ Second Coming movie(s) wouldn't be bad either.

Marvel really needs to up its animated movie game. That's probably the best way for them to bring exposure to those outside the Avengers/X-Men (and now Guardians, I guess) universe.

An actual Phoenix and Dark Phoenix saga.
Either make the entire thing a trilogy, or make each saga a trilogy.
If Twilight and Harry potter can have 5+ movies I don't see why the most celebrated comic book event in history couldn't.

I'd also like a reboot of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" and have it actually follow "Origin" for more than 5 minutes. Maybe they'd do that when they finally have to recast Wolverine.

A movie where they are well portrayed , wear super hero costumes resembling those of the comics and were everybody gets cool action scenes and characters development. I wouldn't mind a line-up of Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Rogue (MsMarvel powers), Psylocke (telepath and ninja), Cyclops, Kitty Pryde and Gambit. Kind of the outback days but with the later three instead of Havock, Dazzler and Longshot. Mister Sinisters and the Marauders as villains would be cool. A space adventure with the Brood and Shia'r would rock too.
