Bluto kidnaps Olive Oyl once again. Popeye comes charging to the rescue and the two scrap, with Bluto having the upper hand. Popeye, near-defeated, whips out a can of spinach.

However, Bluto, having seen this happen again and again, has this time come prepared: He in turn whips out some Hostess Fruit Pies (TM) and Twinkies (TM), a la these ads in an attempt to make Popeye drop the spinach in favor of the pastries.

So, which is stronger, the strange hypnotic ability comic-book Hostess products apparently have, or Popeye's love of spinach?

This can only end in Hostess Spinach Pies and Spinach Filled Twinkies.

Popeye might be a bit too obsessed with healthy eating and especially spinach to be seduced.

Besides its not like Popeye could not eat the Spinach, beat up Bluto and take the Hostess.

Or Punch Bluto into a giant Twinkie.
