The only seasons without at least a year gap between them was season 3 and 4. Based on the length of time they typically take to make a season, that link, and Adult Swim's statement on the matter, it'll at least have an 8th (and final?) season...it's just for the first time don't know WHERE it'll land.

I have seen a few seasons. The show was a perfect rip of pop culture with the Johnny Quest type dynamic around it. I got to around season 4-5 on it.

“Camp Quarantine" has concluded at Tyler Perry Studios for the second seasons of four of his BET Networks originals: The Oval, Sistas, Ruthless and Bruh. The former two air on BET, while the later two air on BET+.

Per Deadline, overall, 82 episodes of the shows were filmed in just 32 shoot days. There were 51 days of quarantine. Show-wise, Bruh was the last to wrap, shooting 19 episodes of television in only four days. Sistas, the first to wrap, will be back on BET in October.

Perry implemented a “bubble" model with crew and cast getting tested as soon as they arrive and staying in their rooms until results are back. Cast and crew were quarantined on the studio lot for the duration of their shoot.

Not one person tested positive.

This is a pretty big surprise - Anna Faris is not returning to Mom for the show's 8th season. Apparently there will be a storyline explaining her character's absence.

Since the show has moved into a more ensemble-driven cast, I can see the show continuing. However, since the show was essentially a starring vehicle for Faris at the start, it strikes me as a bit ham-fisted to deal with her departure in such a slack off kind of way. The very least that should've been done is have a small number of episodes writing her out.

The way it sounds she was the one who didn't want to come back at all. I'm sure they would have loved her to come in and do 2 or 3 episodes to usher her character off. I kinda wonder if maybe they might bring back the girl who played the daughter/grandaughter so Janey can still have a family member to bounce off of. Even if the don't the cast on that show is still one of the best on any sitcom with almost all if them having years of experience on other hit shows.
