The renewal of B Positive was a little surprising given how the male lead got exposed for being a total shitbag of a human being during the season. As for that United States Of Al series, its renewal comes despite a series a bad reviews.

With For Life, even the series lead said he didn't want to see fans of the show badmouthing the network for cancelling the show, acknowledging that the show simply didn't have the ratings.

Fox has renewed 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star, The Resident, and The Masked Singer. Their Fall 2021 and midseason schedules were released today. You can check it out HERE!. (There's not a single program on the Fox slate that I have any interest in, whether it is a returning or new series).

CBS has announced that Evil is moving to their Paramount+ streaming service.

The cast of Paramount+'s iCarly revival has come out against online racist attacks after one of the series' actresses reveals being a target.

A Black Lady Sketch Show star Laci Mosley, who will play Carly's (Miranda Cosgrove) friends in the series, has released an online video talking about the attacks she has received for playing Laci, who fans have surmised is replacing Jennette McCurdy's character (and Carly's best friend) Sam from the original series.

The amount of hatred shown towards Mosley and the cast in general is largely nonsensical since McCurdy has publicly stated how she wouldn't return to acting and specifically talked about her time with iCarly as a source of embarrassment for her.

The ABC Fall 2021 schedule has been released. There are three returning series, one of which is switching nights, that I will continue to watch: The Conners, Big Sky and The Rookie. Beyond that, there's nothing that makes me want to watch.

Really? Those shows get renewed despite being bad. The only good thing about United States of Al is the guy playing Al.

CBS made it official: Seal Team has been renewed for a fifth season. But it will air only a few episodes on the network before it turns into a Paramount+ streaming service series. Meanwhile, still no official word on the fate of Clarice. Negotiations are ongoing but if it is picked up for a 2nd season, it too will be heading to the streaming service. Article Link.

How will they get any ad revenue if they keep taking any show worth watching and send it to streaming? Or are they going the Star Trek D route and bringing it back to on the air after a year or so?

They only did that with Star Trek Discovery because they had such a lack of programming when nothing was being produced. Oh and it will officially be four episodes before it switches over.

CBS has released their Fall 2021 Schedule. Oh and they renewed Undercover Boss as a mid-season show.

The big takeaway from this is that the network has moved NCIS off of Tuesday night after 18 seasons. They moved it to Mondays at 9pm to lead into the new NCIS: Hawai'i series. I'm not a fan of the move because Tuesdays at 8pm has been a consistent point in time for all these years and it is annoying that they did it in part to lead into the new show but also because it now gives Dick Wolf a THIRD night of the week that his shows control a night. Why? Because with FBI and the two spinoffs of the mothership, he now controls Tuesdays on CBS.

Since there isn't anything left of The CW that I watch, this pretty much solidifies my network TV schedule for the fall. It's just 11 shows and only the NCIS: Hawai'i show is new. There's just less and less being offered that I have any interest in investing my time in. And obviously, this doesn't take in to account shows on non network TV like Resident Alien and Doctor Who.
