Some asshat posted a link to that Echo news on Twitter, saying Jodie Whittaker was in it. They were trolling, so I blocked them. All four previous modern Doctor Who leads ended up doing something in Marvel or DC (Eccleston was in Thor 2, Tennant was in AKA Jessica Jones, Smith was in Morbius, Capaldi was in Suicide Squad) as have some of the companions (Karen Gillan is in the Guardians of the Galaxy films, Arthur Darvill was in Legends of Tomorrow, John Barrowman was in Arrow), so I can see Jodie doing something superhero related sooner or later. It just isn't this.

The article is really talking about two actors from the Netflix Marvel shows reprising their roles.

As for Gentleman Jack, that was a co-production with the BBC, I wonder if they'll find a new partner to continue it with?
