Well, they did continue when Duchovny left and they had Doggett and Reyes as the new members of the X-files division. So Carter might be prepping the new agents to take over but it wouldn't be the same without M & S. Maybe it's time for them to ride off into the sunset and let others carry the torch. Since the last XFiles were pretty good (especially the comedy episode) why not end on an high note?

Victor Garber will be leaving Legends of Tomorrow later in this current third season.
BET has canceled Being Mary Jane after four seasons but will air a 2 hour movie in 2018 that will serve as a series finale.
