6 seasons? How many seasons in a year did they make? It felt like that show premiered like a year ago.

Back in the mid 90s it was said Days was at a ratings low point and NBC was desperate. So one writer came up with some off the wall ideas (Clones , demon possession etc) and the older traditional fans went ape ****. But it lured a whole other segment of young fans to it who wanted to see that. That writer got his own soap where he could do off the wall insane **** and it ran a few years 8-9 years.
