An end of an era for Soap operas I suppose. Days itself is barely limping along and moving to Peacock could see it die off quicker. Its a shame as the show itself is 3 years away from its 60th year of existence.

Apparently Days' spinoff Beyond Salem is doing well there, though. I think the spinoff on the streaming service was a test of sorts to see if the coast was clear to move the parent show there. I think GH isn't far behind with being exclusively on a streaming service, too (couldn't begin to guess which one, though).

It seems to be a means to keep it alive, not to shuttle it off to die. But we'll see.
