It always boggles my mind when everyone can see the shark coming, and they decide to jump it anyway.

Seems that they have the basis for a completely different show with Castle, Alexis and Hayley going full-time detective to track Beckett's shadowy killer (only reason I can think of that the producers can explain her no longer being on the show) which would totally change the nature of the show. Bad idea.

If they don't have the money they should just make a short season 9 and properly end the show. Wonder what Fillion thinks of all this? He was pushing for a 4-day work week this season because he wanted more time for other projects.

OWN has renewed the series Greenleaf for a second season...two months before the first season premieres.

HBO announced today that Game of Thrones has been officially renewed for a 7th season.
