CBS renews 16 shows. I was happy to see they renewed Superior Donuts but disappointed that Elementary wasn't one of the renewals (at least not yet, but things seem dim).

Cinemax has canceled The Knick after 2 seasons.

I am pissed that I went on and watched Good Girls Revolt despite knowing it was cancelled because it ended in a cliff hanger and gosh durn it I want answers.

Last I remember Elementary was barely getting by even before this season started and the general idea was that this would be the last season unless ratings got a pretty big jump...not much left for the show to really do with the characters at this point sadly...
