The Power Rangers were bigger than Jesus 15 years ago and it was basically the teenage super sentai United Nations, so implying that the M. Avengers is not popular 'couse geeks are biggots is simply wrong. I haven't read the M. A. but would you say it is cool series? whats the good and the bad of the comic ?

@ John Mayo- Grayson was very close to joining those top books that had the 2D cover cross the 10k mark at 9,442. Which is great news for such an awesome series!.
Looking @ the numbers for the last several Marvel Events, I noticed a downward trend on the final issue numbers:
- AvX #12 did 171,800 units
- AoU #10 did 110,800 units
- Infinity #6 did 101,400 units
- Original Sin #8 did 90,478
Now AXIS is starting this month with double shipping literally less than a month before the last "this changes everything" event. If the last issue doesn't break 90k do you think that Marvel will finally hold back on these big events?
This was a reorder of Mighty Avengers #1 not a premiere release. As John Mayo wrote: "It could be as simple as Marvel or Diamond deciding to blow out remaining copies of "Mighty Avengers" #1 before "Captain America and the Mighty Avengers" #1 comes out, or it might have nothing to do with the replacement series."
Mighty Avengers #1 was originally released in September 2013 with 101,921 estimated sales, debuting at No. 7 on the Diamond September 2013 Comic Book Sales Figures, which is pretty fantastic bearing in mind it was another DC 3D (Villains) month. #2 shifted #54,816 in the following month. whereas the recent issues shift north of 20,000 units each month.
The writing by Al Ewing is first rate. Very down to earth when the main protagonists are conversing with each other as well as being intelligently witty at times. I personlly believe Al Ewing to be one of the best writers out there at the moment. The art by Greg Land, on the other hand, is not always liked by various readers.
HAHAHAHA you can't make this crap up. Less than a month after Marvel's "This changes everything" Event ended, not even 2 days since the start of the new "This changes everything" Event, Marvel has announced a "This Changes Everything" Mega Event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And people wonder why Marvel is always the #1 when it comes to the monthly charts.
90K is still good enough to get in the top ten in comic sales and some longevity in trade sales. Marvel won't change or do anything unique to change the course of its strategy. Heck, look at the new 'Secret Wars" crossover. Completely unoriginal concept to ignite nostalgia in lasped readers.
