I enjoyed the post Crisis version a lot but the Satellite era is my favorite version. Great lineup. I came in as a 5 yr old reading a crossover with Earth 1, Earth 2, & Earth S! Never confusing to me!

So how would you classify the "eras" of the Justice League? You've got the Satelitte Era, which went from '70-'84, you've got the post-crisis era '85-? What else?

The JL eras can be seen in the different headquarters : cave, satellite, bunker, embassy, moon watchtower, satellite. New 52 JL is using a satellite again.

What could've been a great addition to the League back then....sigh.

Yeah, this irritates me quite a bit. The Archives finally start getting to the beginning of this period, and they suspend them. Some of the best material from the history of the League would soon be reached by the Archive line -- stuff that fans love -- and they won't publish the line further apparently.

Really annoyed by that. It's very shortsighted (and ridiculous given that the Archives are providing the material for the all the new "golden" and "silver" age omnibi they're doing).

Seriously DC, release some trades or omnibuses from this era. I'll pay money!

Man I remember that crazy JLA, JSA, Legion crossover.

I always liked the main artist back then, Dick Dillin. He drew capes that looked like cardboard but he drew ever character really well. Very underrated.
