As much as I like Iron Man and RDJ, and I REALLY do, I'd prefer that some new characters finally get their shots before we get a FOURTH Iron Man movie. As for villains, I'd go with Th Ghost and Madame Masque (that'd change things up some).

I would be all for Iron Man 4 being Iron Man plus whoever gets their solo movie next. I bet Mel Gibson could direct the heck out of IM4 as well but I bet they don't go in that direction.

Iron Man 3 was a train wreck. Popular? Obviously. Enjoyable? Likely. Good? No. What Disney/Marvel really needs to focus on for the next Iron Man movie is to get Tony back to his roots and simply make a good film with a simple, coherent and interesting plot.

There are a thousand and one things you can do with Iron Man. Get back to basics and make a good film. That's all we want.

Great news!

Personally, I'd love to see a corporate espionage type movie with Ghost as the villain. Invisibility/intangibility would be a cool powerset and a different story/challenge to the protagonist. But either way, I'm excited to see a MCU franchise break through the trilogy glass ceiling.
