Really sorry if that last sentence was offensive, but that's the best way I can describe it. Voldemort has never wanted friends, never felt or had an inclination to feel love or remorse, fears his own mortality, and truly believed he was the only one who could access the Room of Requirement even though the evidence in the same room he hid his Horcrux in suggested that for centuries students at Hogwarts knew how to access it.

None of these things are ever really explained. We are just left to believe that Voldemort was born that way: a monster who believed he knew more than anyone else around him. I get it, I'm used to one-dimensional villains, but it feels like an odd fit for the rich characters that populate the Potter world. I would've liked to have known more about Voldemort's psychology, what made him the way he was. I refuse to believe that evil people are just born like it. People become what they are by being shaped by their experiences in life.
Probably because JK Rowling knew that if Voldemort got one inkling of developement, she'd need to make him sympathetic, and then all the fangirls would have gone crazy with the Draco in leather pantsing. They do enough as it is.

as introduced, Mandrill and Nekra were horribly offensive creations.

Have to politely disagree on that one...

Maybe this would be a good time to remind everyone that Marvel created a Morlock with sticky skin and named him Tar Baby.

    In the 80s, no less.

Dogwelder exists due to a bar bet, where Garth Ennis claimed he could create any character, and "Dogwelder" was the dare.

I mean, he at least won the bet.

I'm not familiar with Eye Scream but the other three were supposed to be joke characters.

The "origin of Arm-Fall-Off Boy" in the comic book series that accompanied the Legion cartoon was awesome and should have won all the Eisners.

Eye Scream was the true antagonist of the "Obnoxio the Clown vs. the X-Men" comic. He has the mutant power to turn into ice cream... ANY FLAVOR. Professor X effectively helps stop him from killing the X-Men and Obnoxio in the Danger Room by... turning the mansion's thermostat down and freezing him back into hard ice cream that can't move. Seriously, he's beaten by the X-Mansion's air conditioner.

Why he didn't just use telepathy on him... I dunno.

Weren't most of these parodies, intentionally lame created to be outrageously bad, therefore successful at what they were designed for.

For one, not let him talk, just edit it so he just grunt or growls or beeps like Chewbacca, Walrus or R2.

But that film had more serious problems than JJ

The Clone Wars series had some Jar Jar centric episodes that were... not good, but not as nearly bad as you'd expect.

FF having a talking robot is fine.
Having him replace and be one of the FOUR!, was a bad idea.

Although I believe it was due to licensing rights Human Torch had gone to another show, so they had to invent a new 4th member.
They could have at least come up with a new fourth human who gets powers.
