The stars align just so, and every ghost in fiction is transported to New York City, where they settle in and begin doing their usual individual activities.

However, this New York isn't just any New York. This New York is home to the Composite Ghostbusters; with the combined membership, gear, and capabilities of their various film, cartoon, print and game versions. (But not including the Filmation Ghostbusters.) The city immediately foots the bill for ghost removal - it's coming out of their disaster relief funding and government aid. The ghosts are acting as normal, so the Ghostbusters are free to ignore or even attempt to recruit the more benign ones. However, they are likely to prioritize dealing with the most obviously dangerous ghosts first.

What happens to the city and/or the world? Can the Ghostbusters keep the peace, or are they overwhelmed?
