Weird episode. I mean so much finality for a comic story. Like Multiplex won't be back in time to fight Firestorm, which was telegraphed nicely enough by mentioning Ronnie Raymond. Or like Simon Stagg won't somehow be back. Dude was always dying and coming back and somebody's got to make Metamorpho.

I figure Harrison's line about being a Pariah is literal, too. Prove me wrong, show.

Heh. Maybe the Flash in the newspaper article isn't really OUR Flash, it's a Flash on a parallel world. Harrison keeps getting thrown from Earth to Earth where he's trying to find and guide a Flash who can actually survive and stop the Crisis...

Had a thought about villains. As more meta bad guys show up, especially the classics like Captain Cold and Mirror Master and Grodd, surely they won't all last one episode and then die, so what prison could hold them? I think Oliver Queen might have some good advice to offer in that department since he and ARGUS have a pretty secure one designed for just that type of criminal on the island of Lian Yu where Deathstroke is currently cooling his heels. Anyone think the two shows might occasionally tie in that way?

Sounds like a recipe for a good "prison break" story.

The Flash in the newspaper article that Harrison Wells was looking at wore a costume similar to the New 52 suit. I wonder if we can expect TV Barry to eventually wear a suit closer in appearance to the one in the comics.

By the way- final death knell a day or so ago on any hope of "The Flash" and "Arrow" merging with the DC movieverse, with the announcement of Warner Brothers' long term plan that includes Ezra Miller as the Flash. Bummer for me. I knew it was a long shot but I still had my fingers crossed. Hopefully the movies will still be good (though I have to admit I had never heard of Miller before, and when I looked him up I really had to wonder how anyone saw him as the Flash).

Unless Batman v. Superman is a huge turnaround, I'd rather they kept DC's TV universe as far away from Snyder and Goyer as possible!

That said, there is a "Crisis" on the horizon...

Yesterday, when I was watching Fastest Man Alive with my Dad, I said to him that Detective West, former guardian of Barry, father of Iris etc, was an original character, not from the comics, created for the show.

Was I correct to assert such a thing? And, if so, would many of you like him, like Diggle, or Chloe, to make the transition to comics?

My guess is that Ronnie's in some kind of immaterial or energy state ever since the explosion and won't find a way to rematerialize fully until the first time he merges with Dr. Stein (Victor Garber).
