I wouldn't blow up at him i would probably try and sit down and have a talk with him like an adult (even if Barry doesn't always act like one it seems) and then if it that didn't work i would see about getting him some kind of therapy.

And yes raising your voice is yelling unless you are trying to be heard over a loud noise.

My question is why do you think Barry needs to coddled, and his emotions should matter more in this situation. At face value, he was getting a harsh dose of reality. The fact that the impossible ended up becoming real is besides the point. For all these years he was accommodated when literally every bit of reason should convince him that he was wrong.

It's just kind of humorous because this whole thing came about because Barry's surrogate father got frustrated and angry at him.
