I'm probably one of the few people who enjoyed this character and looked forward to every appearance. Let's hope he lives up to his words that he "always comes back"
I know that line in the title got a lot of flack when it was published, but...it just fit him so well. Count me as a fan, too.
"Darkseid...always hated music..."
Every post I make, it should be assumed by the reader that the following statement is attached: "It's all subjective. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you, and vice versa, and that's ok. You may have a different opinion on it, but this is mine. That's the wonderful thing about being a comics fan, it's all subjective."
Considering how Superboy Prime responded to the Post-COIE DCU, one can only imagine how badly he'd take the New 52.

First CBR Appearance (Historical): November, 1996
First CBR Appearance (Modern): April, 2014
Since this is here, what would be some recommended Superboy-Prime reading?
Not to spoil the fun but shouldnt this be in the superman forums, considering there is a whole seperate superman forums, while the rest of the DCU is kinda squashed here.
This Earth Prime thing sounds kind of interesting
Superboy Prime is one of my favourite villains. Infinite Crisis and Sinestro Corps War are some of my favourite DC events because of him.
How can you not love him? Anything meta is A-ok with me. Was the Blackest Night tie-ins the last time we saw him?
If any character can breach the old to the new, it should obviously be him. No new origin. No continuity change. Just have him rip into something sometime soon and be the voice of the comedic fan-boy outrage. He's like DC's Deadpool. There's really no rules with him. The sillier things got, the more I enjoyed him. It's a bummer someone like Morrison never got to utilize him, given his usage of 4th wall breaking and meta-message.
