It's the guy behind Shaft though, so hopefully he respects the character and can get the best out of him even in this ridiculous story.

Why the Heck are good black characters disrespected, and hamstrung in dumb ideas. This tanks...*as it should, then it's blamed on Blade* Could he not just have been put back into Mighty Avengers Ewing was doing an awesome Blade!

It makes all the sense in the world as they're both two of the earliest marvel characters to make it to the big screen.

Given all the doom and gloom coming out of a lot of Hickman's stuff, I'm actually looking forward to something like this.
