I went over to the Spider-Girl forums and saw someone ask DeFalco if he'd be involved. He confirmed he hasnt been invited back for Spider-Verse.

Now, this may mean nothing, as I recall Peter David denied he'd be involved with Spidey 2099 after Miguel was brought back, and lo and behold he's writing a new regular series for him.

Spider-Verse isn't kicking off for another half an year, plenty of time for Marvel to make the necessary arrangements for new projects.

I'd like to see a Spider-Man 2099 one shot. However I do have a question, when they say every single Spider-Man is going to be in Spider-verse, I wonder are they going to do anything with any evil Spider-Men out there in the Universe. Off the top of my head I remember the Evil Carnage fused Spider-Man from the Exiles, and I remember that Evil Spider-Man who was sucking the powers and the life of other Spider-Man from different Universes (It was a crossover issue with Spider-Man, The Hulk and the Punisher, it was weird but it happened). Just a thought or has this already been addressed.
