Default What are you listening to right now?

Before the reboot there was an active thread regarding "What are you listening to right now?" I have searched the forums and I have yet to see anyone start a new one. It was always interesting to see and hear what others in the CBR Community were listening to.

Right now I am listening to "Thunderstruck" which is performed and sung by AC/DC

'Thunderstruck' is pretty cool. I'm mostly familiar with AC/DC's singles, and have yet to listen to a full album, but I've always preferred Bon Scott's vocals to those of Johnson. Hearing 'Thunderstruck' I keep being reminded of Donald Duck somehow.

I'm presently listening to the Scream remix of La Roux' 'In For The Kill'. Always thought it was a nice ditty, just very unfortunate that the lady singing it cannot reach those notes in live performances AT ALL. There's bound to be YT covers out there doing a better job.

Well, right this second...I'm listening to The Smiths' "Louder than Bombs".

But I just got in from a road trip that featured a few new highlights that included the Broken Bells' second album "After the Disco," (see "The Changing Lights"), the feisty country trio Pistol Annies' "Annie Up" (try the opening track, "I Feel a Sin Coming On"), Fitz & the Tantrums' "More Than Just a Dream," Eric Church's gritty, outlaw album "The Outsiders" (see defiant, break-up anthem "Give Me Back My Hometown"), and catchy pop king Pharrell Williams' "G I R L", on which ubiquitous boppy hit "Happy" might just be the least impressive track.

And, of course, I've been streaming it, but I eagerly anticipate Akron rock duo The Black Keys' new album "Turn Blue" which drops this Tuesday.

Just finished the Avett Brothers' "The Carpenter."

Next up, Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience."

Got Sirius XM's 80s on 8 playing on my TV, and right now I'm listening to Don Henley's "All She Wants To Do Is Dance." Not a big Henley fan, but it's one of his songs I like.

Jethro Tull. Song From The Wood album. Right now Jack in the Green is playing, a song where all of the instruments are played by front man with a flute Ian Anderson.
