"Sad But True" -- Metallica
Finished listening to Oxnard, and overall I like it from first impression. It didn't have quite as many 'Oh wow!' moments for me as Malibu had, but I think this is gonna be a grower for me. It very much feels like it's Anderson having a fun party with his friends (the featured guests on the tracks), where his debut Venice was like an eclectic, style-hopping introduction, and Malibu was the introspective and nostalgic album. He's getting more on his spoken word/rap vibe than on the soul crooner wave he rode on his previous releases, so it's a little bit of a switch up, but it's a fun listen.
Take my dreams, childish and weak at the seams
Please don't analyze, please just be there for me

"Summer Song" -- Joe Satriani
I'm unfortunately experimenting with vinyl. I think the Canadian dollar is going to keep me from indulging however. Purchase, and am listening to the latest Gorillaz album, "The Now Now."
