Default Tracking the Dead Spideys (and, why not, the live ones too)!

Spoilers ahead. You're about to hit some major spoilers for Spider-Verse. It's kind of a pain to keep putting spoiler tags on here as issued get released, so just don't scroll down if you don't want to be spoiled.

Because I'm bored, here's a list of all the Multiversal Spideys, including who's dead and who's not. We'll have to do a lot of rearranging in the coming months, as more will undoubtedly be killed as Spider-Verse progresses. Plus, a few other caveats:

    - The Earth-numberings are taken from the Marvel Wiki. Some of these numbers have been confirmed in actual Marvel comics. (I.e., we've known for awhile that "Days of Futures Past" is Earth-811.) Others were created by the OHOTMU writers (who tend to update marvunapp.com and I think the Marvel Wiki), so these numbers are only "official" to the extent that they've been named in a Handbook and not by a Marvel writer.
    - That means that there's some disagreement over the numbers. For example, Slott seems to have indicated that the actual Amazing Friends and Spider-Man Unlimited characters have died, but the numbers contradict what's on the Marvel Wiki. So, for now, I'll list both numbers, but some may go away if we find out that somebody else lives on Earth 8107.
    - There's probably a lot more Spideys than what's listed here. Like, the universe from "What if Rick Jones Became the Hulk" undoubtedly had a Spider-Man, but we never saw him. So we won't list him until we're actually told that world has a Spider-Man.
    - Likewise, I'm sure that a lot of these worlds have a Jessica Drew, or a Kaine, or other spider-characters. I didn't want to go overboard in listing them, so again, we'll leave them off for the sake of simplicity.
    - There's a lot of "silly" Earths in here, because the Marvel Wiki goes overboard and lists everything, including "What If Spider-Man and Paste Pot Pete Fought" and stuff like that. So, sigh, it's listed.
    - Finally: there's a lot of Spideys who died prior to this storyline. Presumably they won't show, although I guess they could be plucked from time prior to their deaths like Old Man Spidey will be.

    So, let's go:

    * Note: There is an ongoing debate over whether the Amazing Friends and Spider-Man Unlimited who were killed by the Inheritors were the one, true versions or simply alternates of the original. Comments from Dan Slott on Twitter indicate that Slott saw them as the originals, and he further saw Spider-Man Unlimited as being the same character from the 1990s Animated Series. Since fans dispute this based on prior numbering from the Marvel Wiki and elsewhere, I am keeping both numbers with the caveat that Marvel may officially disagree with the Wiki.

This list is undoubtedly going to get bigger.

Is April Parker (Spider-Girl's symbiote clone) really going to be in Spider-Verse too?

    Has this been confirmed?

I thought she died in the last issue of Spider-Girl.

I don't know about if she's confirmed for Spider-Verse but the last issue of Spider-Girl left it pretty open ended considering that we never saw a body and Peter makes a comment about how resilient clones are when it comes to returning when they're thought to be dead. We'll probably find out in the next issue of Amazing Spider-Man since the backup story takes place in MC2.

Depends on what you need pics on. You want something simple or the full Peter Parker treatment?

Ah, nuts. I had no idea of April's status and just listed her for the heck of it. Come to think of it, I left Benjy off of there too.

Others were created by the OHOTMU writers (who tend to update marvunapp.com and I think the Marvel Wiki), so these numbers are only "official" to the extent that they've been named in a Handbook and not by a Marvel writer.
Just a couple of clarifications - first, what you call "the Marvel Wiki" is not Marvel's Wiki site, but an unofficial fan one. And second, the handbook writers do not update that site. And since you are drawing distinctions in levels of officialness of the numbers between those seen in regular comics and those thus far only in a handbook, I'll also clarify that any numbers that start TRN are that fansite's numbers, and not in any way official.

Yep, yep, and yep. They do tend to update the "TRNs" once the number has been declared in an official source. (I think TRN stands for "temporary number.") Thanks.

Made some tweaks based on this week's deaths.

Two Spider-Man clones died during the Ultimate Clone Saga. Kaine and Tarantula died in issue 103. Also I think Ultimate Spider-Man is no longer dead. But that is still to be determined.
