I gotta agree here. Stark, and Banner (no order), I think, would round out the top five, IMO.

Going by the recent depiction in New Avengers, Tony Stark may well be out of top 5 since he doesn't understand what Reed, Beast and co are saying most of the time. And they *are* focusing and studying the problem, so it's not much a matter of specialty.
We know Amadeus Cho is the 8th, and Pym ranks above him.
Does anyone have a panel saying Blue Marvel > Mr. Fantastic or is it just behind of scene creator interview stuff?

now that I think about it
Blue Marvel hasn't really shown any feats that are as good as Reed....so maybe Marvel decided to go against the creator's intent with him?

Honestly, it is hard for me to choice who is more between Reed and Doom, so really they are both tied in my mind with each exceeding the other in different moments in time.
T'Challa is just right behind, being a Super Genius and King of the Greatest Technological Society on Earth!
