With the amount of threads on CBR X-Books discussing characters who have been away, whether it's been for a short or long period of time, I figured why not have a giant place to discuss those who are no longer in the books but still remain in our hearts. Whether they're D-List Gems who haven't appeared since 1989, a favorite who got written out, had their series cancelled, or fell victim to being wrongfully killed, this is the place to talk about wanting them to return.

There is and only will be one rule to this thread: If they are active in any X-Book right now, please reserve discussion of them for elsewhere.

I recently read Mike Carey's 'Collision' and fell in love with some of the new Children of the Vault, and relived the brief glory of Serafina. This made me go back and reread 'Supernovas'.

I want Serafina back! (But only under a good writer)

Not sure that Kwannon could come back, but I wouldn't mind Revanche coming back with a new mind in the body...say a young woman who'd bee handicapped in some way all her life and say very ugly, then to suddenly be in a body like Revnache's...
