I heard Lemire was going to cut down on his DC work for more creator owned stuff. Marvel must have offered him a pretty good deal. Glad it's not an exclusive since he's been such a big part of DC since the relaunch. Would love to see him bring back The Legion!
It would be cool if DC got a Marvel guy on one of their books. Still holding out for Fraction. or DeConnick writng a Lois Lane book since she's said Lois is one of her favorite characters and she's already written some fun short stories in Adventure of Superman.

Actually, she said they offered her a series when the new 52 launched, though she rejected because they only gave her one week to write a pitch.

It always disappointed me that Parker never got a go at the Avengers.

Of those three, I'd say that Duggan is probably the biggest get for DC, although it would be great if Parker in particular got more gigs at DC.

Why? it was a entirely new creative team why wouldn't you jump on Green Arrow at issue 16? the constant relaunches are silly, i'm glad DC isn't like Marvel, soon Marvel won't be able to count pass 1 with the amount of relaunches they do

Ironically Marvel are going to relaunch Hawkeye with a new number 1 when Lemire takes over. If people say the 3d covers or variants are gimmicks then surely relaunching a book should be classed as a gimmick too.

You mean the same books that also sell at 2.99 in september? really when it comes on to DC do people just casually leave out information to prove points?

While this announcement is cool for Marvel and probably great for Hawkeye fans (I'm super excited for the new run), it's not a bad thing for DC. Lemire's still doing work for DC (one of them being what looks to be a big event) and I don't think an end for JLU has been announced either. He's not exclusive to anyone; makes sense that he'd write for more than just DC.

There's not many creators in the industry who'd get me excited to follow-up Fraction on Hawkeye but I think Marvel chose pretty well. Perez is also a pretty great follow-up to Aja.

Strange you say that a month after they dominated the marketplace in sales. Honestly, in 35 years of being a fan I've never seen DC in a better place than they are right now.

I have been a fan even longer and I agree. DC was never this close to Marvel in sales as they are now.

Or it means they'll get Lobdell or Nocenti or another has been from the 80s and 90s to take his place. DC isn't in a good place right now.

I think DC is in a great place, and your dislike of Nocenti and Lobdell is your problem. Matter of fact, DC is in a better place than it's been in decades, and it's only going to get better.
