Hey so I just did this parody of the x-men on my webcomic site http://wwtcomics.com/comic7, and cannot stop thinking about lame/funny mutant abilities. So, which is the worst mutant power in the x-men's history? (I would bet it is the new mutant guy who basically dominated any language), and what is the funniest mutant ability you can think of?

Most awful power to have: Wither, who's uncontrollable touch not only kills but in gruesome way.
Funniest: Goldballs is up there.

Reality warping is pretty dumb and defeats itself, storytelling wise.
Wicked from Genosha Excalibur was kind of odd. She is able to communicate with ghosts? Okay. What next? I like the character but really what does that power do for anybody other than an appraiser?Last edited by blinkingblah; 10-19-2014 at 08:25 PM.

Any of the individuals who have are obviously mutants, but who have no defensive abilities whatsoever. (Also goes for all the depowered mutants who kept their appearance only.). In the MU that sets you up as cannon fodder.
Here's Ugly John as an example. Life expectancy: 1 issue.

Jazz. His skin was blue. That's it.
Longneck has already been mentioned.
Beak. He looked like a fragile bird but couldn't fly or anything.
Dummy had to be kept in a containment suit because he was a gas.
Wraith just had invisible skin.
There was a Morlock who was just small and hairy.

There was the chick whose mutant ability was to set herself on fire. But her ability didnt give her immunity to fire. So she either burned to death or had 3rd degree burns all over her body.

Morrison's run had a chinese mutant whose every skinflake grew into a deformed mewling clone of himself. That one seemed pretty pointless and bad.
