Big Bond fan here. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but Matt Gourley & Matt Mira’s James Bonding podcast is amazing for fans who love the highs and lows of the franchise in equal measures.

It's lots of fun (and their little mistakes drive me crazy)! Gourley's a national treasure.

With all the hype around Elba I think age might be a problem there too, as he's almost 50 himself.

However, Moore and Brosnan were cast in their mid 40s as well, although I think Brosnan perhaps aged a bit more gracefully in the role than Moore did (and left earlier too).

Kind of worked for the film though, as part of it's plot was Bond kind of being tired and worn out.

Live and Let Die was also filmed there; although it doubled as a fictional island (In the book, -The second Bond novel-it actually is Jamacia, and Bond first meets Quarrel and Strangways in that book, so the novel version of Dr.No is, in a way, a sequel of sorts to the LALD book).

I wonder if we might get "Craigverse" versions of Strangways and Quarrel?
Exactly what came to mind. The Craig films have always had some sort of homage to past Bond films/history so it's great to see a return to where it all began.

There's going to be a big reveal tomorrow...probably the title, villain, other Bond girl etc.

And they've just posted a picture of a beach, which I'm pretty sure is the iconic Crab Key location where Honey Ryder first arrived on the beach.

Craig also had a huge gap between nearly all his films that was abnormally long. He’s probably going to have held the role in the main coniuity longer than anybody despite his 5th film not being released yet

I think part of the reason for Skyfall being delayed was that MGM was having problems around the time of 2010. Entertainment Weekly even had a "Goodbye, Mr Bond" article around 2010 or so since it was unclear where it was headed.

Looks like Léa Seydoux is back too as Madeleine Swan.
I didn't like her character, but that's just that I cannot see her as a good girl!
And nobody has beaten Vesper for me yet!

Cool. I knew that Ramie Malek was up for the villain role, but Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, and Billy Magnussen being here are cool surprises. Hopefully this film will make up for the disappointment that was Spectre, and Craig can end his tenure on a more positive note. Ok guesses for characters:

    Rami-Main villain obviously.

    Billy-Henchmen/secondary villain.

Ana de Armas-Femme Fatale/morally shady person.

    Lashana-Main Bond Woman/spy/government person/etc.

Also Jeffrey Wright returning as Felix, awesome. I've missed him.
