With so many new Spider characters, wouldn't it be better to host them in a team book like Slingers that include the remaining surviving original Slingers?

Aside from Kaine and Hummingbird I'm not really sure about the rest of this group. Silk is already getting her own ongoing solo Rocochet, Dusk and Prodigy don't really have anything to do with Spider-Man since Identity Crisis and we don't even know anything about 616 Miles yet.

Do you know what you've just unleashed?! I've been building and rebuilding Slingers plotlines in my head for something like 15 years!

Read the first 5 issues of Slingers or so, but I couldn't particularly get into it.

Whatever happened the the Dusk costume? I thought it was a cool look, would make for a great villain.

Dusk looked awesome but the others really need to update their wardrobe.

Loved the Slingers and agree it could be a great place for Scarlet Spider (Kaine) & Hummingbird.

Ricochet is still alive and in the same costume (I think) so should be good to go.

Dusk is missing again I think so probably easy to find her and do something with her finally.

Prodigy... jail or something probably the least endearing character.

Silk - getting her own book I think but otherwise no problem with that.

616 Miles Morales - has this character been seen?

As for Hornet someone else on this site had an idea for Eddies cousin to fill the shoes er jetpack.

In case you didn't already know.....BEN REILLY: SCARLET SPIDER #8 has begun THE RETURN OF THE SLINGERS Story in grand style and this storyline follows sometime after what happened to Las Vegas during SECRET EMPIRE.

To make a long short short; basically spoilers:

The New Hornet was hired by somebody who's a rival of the Casino owner where Ben/"Peter" is working for and during the battle, Ben gets rescued by Johnny Gallo/Ricochet {who also wondering who's the current Hornet is

end of spoilers.

Looks like Writer PAD and Artist Will Sliney really starts this Storyarc in their unique style and can't wait until the next Issue.....!!

i see where you're going with this, and it makes a certain amount of sense but i'd guess that concept would float like a lead balloon in the market

The Slingers should have a revolving cast that includes a new Bluebird, SHOC and Black Tiger. Characters from yesteryears especially in the Untold Tales of Spider-Man series. Jason Ionello would be a good twist.

......Well, it's been a while, but intrigue has been happening (I won't go into any spoilages, especially since there's already a thread discussing about BEN REILLY: SCARLET SPIDER #10) and Dusk is finally seen within Issue #10; with the situation possibly causing greater consequences for Ben/Scarlet that even he realizes....!!

BTW: Whatever happened to Arceley? Does she know Kaine is still alive?

Last seen still recovering (along with some of the other New Warriors) from Morlun's attack, which occurred during the SPIDER-EVENT.....And there's still no indication whether she knows about Kaine's current status.

I'm a teacher in a state with closed schools, so I'm gonna have a lot of reading time over the next few weeks.

I started with my first ever read of Avengers Forever, and it was wonderful seeing Eddie McDonough aka the high-flying Hornet once again, even if only for an instant.
