Are those Claremont era flashbacks? I have to admit that I went straight to the Lockheed image and haven't read the entire issue just yet. The flashbacks shown in my link above, don't strike me as Claremont specific

I would imagine that they could use Colossus, as it is a Gold side title. Though Colossus is getting his own section of that Memorial issue, so maybe that's why they didn't want to use him

    I loved this issue!

It was the rest of the run I hated.

I like the concept of various artists doing sections but it did feel jagged. Like there wasn't good transitions or something.

So what's happening with Armor's powers? She's using her armor as material to build actual armor?

    What's the point of that?

This X-book should be devoted to Genesis (kid Apocalypse) Evan, Omega(Quetin Quire) aka "kid Pheonix. and Kid Gladiator(Kubart). Now its Spiderman as headmaster?

I was confused about that. I thought she was just repairing her actual armor which I also didn't think she had to do.

    Spider-Man as teacher/guidance counselor.

And the book has been about those characters for like 50 issues and all interest in the book has plummeted. Time to give another group a shot.

I liked it when Broo was one of the main students.

Ronald Wimbley has stepped into the pantheon of my artistic muses.
And Ian Bertram's part was flippin' gorgeous.
    Story was okayish. Kinda.

More artistic diversity like this, Mr Marts!

I wish the credit page told us which artists did which sections, then I can feel like that towards one of the pairs
