There's a really good idea buried in Joshua Williamson and Mike Henderson's "Nailbiter" #1, unfortunately, it's buried really deep.

I thought this was a pretty good first issue and added it to my pull list to see where it goes. I think it is worth a read.
I highly disagree with the original review. I thought it was a captivating first issue that sets the stage to explore the psyche behind why a serial killer does what they do. I would recommend this to anyone that is interested in what seems like a very promising premise! (As long as you're okay with a little gore and some explicit language!)
The art is great and the writing is off to a solid, promising start. I definitely like the feel of the book, so it's going on the pull list for the foreseeable future.
This issue felt like the first half hour of a crime drama that's trying to capture the magic or feel of Hannibal. Not saying that's bad, because I am curious to see where this is going, but it's going to need a few more issues before I can call this great or amazing.
Opinions may vary in quality.
My big article on Mariko Tamaki's Hulk & She-Hulk runs, discussing the good, bad, and its creation.
My second big article on She-Hulk, discussing Jason Aaron's focus on her in Avengers #20.
I don't think I can continue with this. It was pretty lame and it seems the new trend in comics is 'not-superhero' stuff. Sadly, there wasn't anything really likable about this issue anyway...it's just gratuitous violence and low level attempts at shock. Pass!
I enjoyed the book quite a lot. I think sometimes people expect too much out of one issue. You need to give a book at least a full first story. Give it a chance to get itself situated. That being said, I enjoyed the first issue and added it to my pull.
It sort of does feel like a Hannibal ripoff :/
I really liked the premise, reading the previews so I picked it up. The issue wasn't bad but still didn't grab me and leave me desperate for more. I'll pick up the next couple issues and see how it goes but I didn't like it as much as I expected to.
I personally loved the first issue and feel people may have had to high of expectations for what the first issue would give them, and while I can agree some of the characters may have come off somewhat as clichés, I get the sense that the character development in the next few issues will put these worries to rest, if not meh... still worth checking out a few more issues.
Who picks this up expecting it to be about super heroes? I mean, really.
It was an okay first issue but didn't really grab me as much as I thought it would. I probably won't get the next issue
