Uncanny X-Men #27 review/spoiler

Since anthony_lynch15 is busy, I might as well do it.

- It starts with the preview. The X-Men were on the SHIELD helicarrier, trying to come up with a plan to control Matthew. Cyclops and Storm suggested talking to him. Wolverine prefered killing him. Cyke and Wolvie bickered. Old news.
- Rachel decided that they were too gentle and a sterner approach was needed. It ended badly.
- Matthew punched through Rachel's illusion, crashed the helicarrier and teleported Cyke, Storm and Rachel to their respective homes. Wolvie was MIA.
- Illyana met Scott at the NXS. She proposed taking him back to the JGS, where everyone was coming up with a plan B. However, Scott had other ideas. The Stepford Cuckoos thought his plan was crazy.
- Back at ground zero, Maria Hill ordered not to engage Matthew. She then asked Matthew to leave the planet.
- Scott and Illyana arrived. Scott drew similarities between himself and Matthew. Then he told Matthew that Xavier was wrong about him, and that he was an one-of-a-kind blessing.
- Scott invited Matthew for breakfast and to discuss working together. He accepted.

So yeah, that happened. Cyke (and Storm) was totally right. And Matthew joining the NXS? My body is ready.

I just noticed that I like Bachalo a lot more when he doesn't color his own work. Not that I don't already like him.

8.5/10. The last page alone was worth $3.99

Very glad this wasn't dragged out over the next 3 issues.

Overall I enjoyed it! But I have to say, I did miss Emma. For being 1 of the 3 main characters of the book, she doesn't do very much

- Matthew doesn't blame the X-Men for attacking and disrespecting him
- Storm cannot handle off-panel blows to the head
- The JGS students suck
- Iceman didn't really go anywhere after last issue's tantrum

The whole issue draws similarities betwen MM and cyclops, that's why MM trusts him. Pretty awesome issue and I hope everyone enjoyed as much as I did, oh and RACHEL LIVES!

I found it funny since Sardorim responded every time with a wall of text when that happened.

So Storm was basically right when she said they should just talk to him and Rachel and Beast were wrong.

This is the reason Storm is the leader of the all female team and Rachel is one of the foot soldiers. Hopefully she learned something from the All-goddess.
