I gave it four stars. I thought the issue was amazing but had a few issues here and there. Small ones not even really worth noting. Issue 1 is still my fave.

I agree. #1 was better, story-wise. If I was a total featz whore, the auroras would have tipped the scales, but while that was awesome, the rest of the issue did have a few issues. Still a great comic, and a much needed change of pace, for sure!

This was a good issue. Always great to see Yukio and Pak has her voice and dynamic with Ororo down. But damn, every issue has Storm making a blunder of sorts. This is not a good look for her.

Yes, exactly. Storm has danced with the devil before, when it served a greater purpose. Interrupting the arena match and putting Yukio in trouble was too much of a blunder. Pak loves having Storm blunder about, and I think it is a disservice to Ororo's cunning, strategic mind. If she really wanted to stop the match, she could have made them pass out with a subtle electrical disturbance or something else less dramatic than jumping into the ring with a giant lightning bolt.

I can appreciate the sort of righteous/passionate angle Pak's been serving, but Ororo is more than that, and every single issue so far has had her act in a way that she should know better. If anything, her personal feelings for underground deathmatches should have been held in check by 1)her respect for Yukio in that moment, and 2)her respect for Logan, whose place she was taking.

That said, it is an interesting conundrum she's gotten herself(and Yukio) into, and I am thankful Pak has finally given an ongoing plot to the book. I will certainly be back for the next issue. I got the last copy on the racks at my LCS today, so hopefully the book gets a nice sales bump and Pak can keep those extra readers with more engaging stories set firmly in the now.

Definitely the best issue so far in this series. Don't care for how Storm is currently being written, but Pak is an exception. He truly brought back the Goddess of Life Claremazon we all know and love from the 80s.

Also I am thrilled to see the return of Valeria K! Its' very good to see you again my friend.

Well I will leave that the dead alone, she's dead, and useless but back to Storm and Yukio. My girls are back together.

Agreed! I couldn't be more thrilled that Ororo and Yukio are finally reunited. All that's left is an on-panel true demonstration of them showing their affection for one another.

Absolutely loved this issue! The art was gorgeous and story well paced.

The emotional coukd be felt!

Really enjoy the use of continuity.

Next issue is gonna be fun.
